Tecnicomar S.p.A. renews its commitment to environmental protection and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle with the ongoing evolution of the FREE WATER Project, supported by the Rotary Club of Marsala. The initiative, which has already been implemented in various local schools, has received full support from Principal Prof. Francesco Marchese of the “Mario Nuccio” Comprehensive Institute with a Musical Address in Marsala. With the installation of Osmofresh water dispensers donated by the company at the school, the FREE WATER project aims to drastically reduce plastic usage by offering students an eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic bottles. As emphasized by Dr. Giuseppe Roberto Mezzapelle, Tecnicomar Director: “The project is evolving with the goal of significantly decreasing plastic consumption in schools by providing students with an ecological and sustainable solution. Thanks to Tecnicomar dispensers, students can drink fresh, pure water for free and refill their water bottles, thereby reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles.

The FREE WATER Project fits perfectly within Tecnicomar’s sustainability strategies, which have always made environmental protection a focal point of its mission. The company is committed to producing high-energy-efficiency desalination and water purification systems that minimize environmental impact. Regarding the FREE WATER Project, the School Principal Prof. Francesco Marchese expressed his approval: “We are pleased to join the FREE WATER Project and offer our students a sustainable and healthy alternative to plastic bottles. This initiative represents an important step toward a more eco-friendly future for our school and community.” Laura De Vita, Sole Director and General Manager of Tecnicomar, commented: “We are proud to advance the FREE WATER Project, which represents a concrete commitment to environmental protection and the promotion of a more responsible lifestyle among young people. We believe that collaboration between schools, companies, and institutions is crucial to building a more sustainable future for future generations.
