Galley water Treatment
The ECOtrap manual series treats the grey water from galley sink, using the following process:
- First filtration of coarse particles by basket strainer;
- chemical treatment by chemical dosage for the reduction of FOG (Fat, Oil, Grease) content.
COMPONENTS
The Grease Trap, ECOtrap manual, is comprised of the following parts, as standard supply: main tank, peristaltic pump (for chemical solution dosing), fat grease solution (supplied on 5 liters tank). Installation: under sink is recommended; with clea- rance maintenance to be left on the top of the tank.
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The unit uses selected lipase producing bacte- ria, nutrients and enzymes in a buffer solution (Fat Grease Solution), to converts Fatty Acids in non-harmful CO2 and H2O, thus reducing FOG (Fat, Oil, Grease) to consent a safe discharge. The solu- tion is automatically dosed by the pump according to its settings.
