Tecnicomar have obtained the ISO 14001:2015 certification, issued by DNV, covering our entire production process: from design to assembly, from testing to maintenance of marine watermakers, primary water treatment units, and black and grey water treatment systems.

The certification does not only apply to our manufacturing plant in Marsala, but also includes our operational site in Viareggio, where we showcase and promote our solutions. This extension reflects the adoption of a consistent environmental management approach, integrated into every area of our business.

“This is a step fully aligned with our industrial vision: sustainable, integrated, and future-oriented. Recognitions like this strengthen our credibility and help us engage more effectively with customers, suppliers, public authorities, and international partners,” said our General Manager, Giuseppe Roberto Mezzapelle.

Our path toward sustainability is not a recent choice, but a clear direction we have followed for years. Since our foundation in 1978, we have always combined technological innovation with environmental responsibility, anticipating trends that have now become essential.

This journey is summarized in our 2024 Sustainability Report, developed according to European ESRS standards: a document that focuses on results rather than declarations. It addresses environmental goals, but also people and governance — the three pillars on which we are building our future. In this context, the ISO 14001:2015 certification represents a natural milestone within a broader vision and complements the certifications we have already achieved in quality, safety, and the oil & gas sector, further strengthening our international profile.

Today we are certified: ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and the “ITALYX” Certification Scheme by Il Sole 24 Ore revision 2.0.

A balance between performance and environmental responsibility that today makes the difference across all the sectors in which we operate — from marine to industrial, from oil & gas to residential.
